Pure Cofain 699
Cola. Coffee. Taste.
In our
first review we would like to tell you our opinion to the Energy – Drink Pure
Cofain 699. At first we would like to get to the point why it’s called Pure
Cofain 699. It’s called 699
because the producer put 699mg caffeine on 1 liter (69mg/100ml) into this drink . That’s much more then the most other Energy – Drinks in Germany got. The others
have got i.e. 32mg/100ml . Nutritional values

But now we will
get to the important point of this review. We will criticize this Energy –
Drink at the following criteria :

Smell
The first impression
when you open the Energy – Drinks is that it has got a strong coffee aroma . If you
take a second smell you notice the typical cola aroma.
Taste
At the
criterion taste we did something special . We tested the Energy – Drink two
times . The first time he was warm (room temperature) and the second time he was
cold (out of the fridge). There we noticed a different in tasting. But first we
will report you our impressions as we drunk the warm one . Here we go:
At the
first swallow you will taste a predominantly coffee – flavor, that we are
interpreting a kind of acerb. Than the flavor of cola is coming through, but
doesn’t dominate the whole taste . But this impression is changing at the after
taste, there the cola flavor is dominating and the coffee flavor is the
secondary flavor. Furthermore there is to note that the after taste is going on
a long time .
But the
cola and coffee flavors are not the only things you will notice if you would
drink that drink . The content of carbon dioxide is very important. That is
something the producer did perfectly and we like it very much, because it was
actually the right dosage, not so much that it’s sparkling in your mouth and
not too little, instead of sparkling you would get a kind of freshness.
Now we are getting to the point where we tasted the Energy – Drink cold, so that you can decide what the best is for you.
If you are drinking Pure Cofain 699 cold, the cola flavor will be away. What we bemoaning very much,
cause for the after
taste there only is the coffee flavor left. Something that was a big surprise
to us is that the drink generally turns a bit sweeter, but also is a kind of
acerb.
Effect
You will
notice the effect immediately after drinking this Energy – Drink and you will
feel much more awake than before, but this isn’t going on very long. 45-60min
later you are getting as tired as before .
Design
The Design was made in a sober black . At the
front side of the bottle there are the words "Pure", "Cola Coffee Taste" and "699" written
in silver and italicize whereupon the words "Pure" and "699" have got a red shadow.
In the middle of the bottle the word "Cofain" is written in red, bold and capital
letters. Furthermore it has got a yellow border. The breech is, how it’s
appropriated to the rest, in a claret-red.
Important
information are written in silver boxes, so that they get your attention.
Conclusion
All in all
you can say that you can only recommend this Energy-Drink to people who really
like drinks like coffee and for those who need the immediately kick to get
awake . But because these are innovative criteria this is not really important.
However a negative point is the effect of the energy-drink isn’t going on very
long. A little positive point is that the can looks really nice, because of its
old-school design.
