Sexergy Cherry Classic

Today we are going to test the well known Energy - Drink Sexergy - cherry classic. As Sexergy says on their website this drink would bear the message of the 21^st century. This message is called : “Live your life with all your energy!” . Whether this is the drink that is giving you the power of life, we will tell you in this review.

In this “miracle drink” are the following ingredients:

carbonated water, sugar, sour cherry juice from concentrate (8%), carbon dioxide, elderberry juice from concentrate, acid citric acid, lemon juice from concentrate, glucose-fructose syrup, acidity regulator sodium citrate, flavor: caffeine, taurine (0,03%), guarana extract (0,02%), flavor, vitamin blend: niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12.

And here are the most important nutritional values that 100ml provides:

And now we are getting to the part where we are criticizing this drink at the following points:

At first, when you open up the can, you will smell a sweetish and fruity smell. If you are smelling the second time you will notice the typical energy-aroma and that the fruity smell has got a cherry aroma.

Taste

As well as in the first review we tasted the Energy – Drink twice what happens to be warm (room – temperature) and cold (out of the frigde). Firstly the warm one:

If you would like to drink Sexergy – cherry classic, you probably think of a strong cherry aroma. But sadly this is not the reality, cause, if you are tasting it, you will only notice a carbon dioxide content that is capping the actually taste. Now there is only a slightly cherry aroma left. But the refreshment  is a big advantage.

The cherry aroma isn’t away all the time, at the after taste it’s coming through, however it doesn’t go on very long. But what’s going on longer, are the sticky lips.

Now we will tell you our impressions as we drunk the cold one. There is not much to say. The only thing that changed is, that the cherry aroma isn’t coming through as much as before, however it’s refreshing you more than before. 

Design 

The design is in a beamless black. At the front- and back side ( they are still the same) is written the word “sexery” in red. Underneath that, are written the words “premium energy drink” in silver and a bit smaller than the word “sexergy”. The silver font is repeated at the low-rim, with the words “cherry classic”. The words “sexergy” and “premium energy drink” are surrounded by a red and fragmentary frame.

Effect

Sexergy isn’t awaking you very much, you are still getting a bit more awake. Nevertheless this effect is going on 1-2 hours.

Conlusion

In our opinion Sexergy – cherry classic isn’t a bad energy – drink. The big energy kick we doesn’t got, but we like the fruity and refreshing taste. What the producer could make better is, that there is too much sugar in. We think this sugar makes the drink too sweet, but you can stand it. Nevertheless the producer designed this can perfectly, because it’s discreet and advanced. To conclude you can’t say, as sexergy did, that this drink is giving us the power of life, but rather a fruity refresher.
