We were waiting for a long time. Now the pending stuff is available in Germany. One kind of the 5 American Monster Rehab is available, the Monster Rehab - Tee + Lemon + Energy. Therefore, it is a pleasure for us to review it.The producer promotes the Energy-Drink with the following slogan:

 

“One that can do it all—a triple threat that quenches thirst, hydrates like a sports drink”.

 Does this Drink can do everything? Will he make you awake? Does he taste good? This and a lot of more questions we will answer you in this review.

Smell

If you smell this Energy – Drink the first time you notice a strong lemon aroma, followed by a slight acerb aroma.

Taste

As we did in the previous reviews we will taste this drink warm (room temperature) and cold (out of the fridge). Let’s start with the warm one:

We were very excited tasting this Energy – Drink, because it seems to be something new for the German Energy Drink – Market.  The taste of this Energy - Drink is comparable with lemon iced tea. It’s like taking a lemon tea and put very much sugar in it – the same as producers do with iced tea. But what also attract our attention is that the typical “energy – taste” does not exsist. Furthermore there is to say that this is the only Monster Energy product that does not contain carbon dioxide. That’s making the drink much sweeter. But this drink is not only sweet, it’s a bit acerb too. This acerb aroma you will mainly notice in your gap.

For the cold one there only is to say that the drink tastes much sweeter, but no further major different to the warm one.

Design    

The typical “Monster – M” is written in black this time. In the background is a yellow-orange rage of fire. Underneath this rage of fire there is written the word monster in the typical white graffiti font. Below this “Rehab” is written in yellow and surrounded by a silver line. At the low rim of this can are the words “tea + lemonade + energy” and “without carbon dioxide”.

Effect

The Energy – Drink makes the consumer awake and alert, however, it is not refreshing you when the Drink is warm. Even if you drink it cold nothing can be taken out. But the effect goes on 2-3 hours.

Conclusion

Our opinion for this Energy – Drink is positive because it has a very delicious taste that stands out of the whole market. We like that Monster has ventured mixing tea in an Energy – Drink in a successful manner. What we like pretty much is that you don’t taste the typical “Energy – flavor” as well as the beautiful design that strikes your attention. But sadly there is a negative point, namely that the drink isn’t refreshing you, it doesn’t matter whether it’s warm or cold. We are very sorry to Monster but for a drink that should refresh you, you need carbon dioxide and less artificial sweetener.

Nevertheless the effect of this drink is very nice because it’s going on very long.

All in all this drink does not match to the slogan,”one that can do it all”, because an isotonic drink needs to be less sweet and must have much more refreshing properties. But if you like to get awake for a long time it is a perfect drink for you.
